A self proclaimed introvert, Artist needed time before she felt comfortable letting others read her work. How long? The first person to read one of her stories was her husband. Since then, she has been writing professionally for almost nine years. However, it was her daughter who encouraged her to write a book for teens—just one of the reasons she loves her so dearly.
Ms. arthur lives in Maryland with her husband and three children. If you take away the opinionated teenagers, family drama, overflowing bookshelves and DVDs, Artist kids that her life is pretty boring. But don’t take those things away, since they’re her inspiration.
